Lighting: This is a lower light tolerant plant and will tolerate about 1-2 hours of direct light on the foliage. To maintain the plant's size, a minimum of 100 FC is required. For good growth, 200 FC is the sweet spot.
Watering: This plant likes to dry out at least 2/3 of the way between watering. It can tolerate drying all of the way out, and the leaves will droop when it is thirsty.
This quick cheat sheet is meant to give you tips and tricks for how to best care for your plant. All of the information above is based on my personal experience and advice with houseplants and the lighting requirements are a reference from Daryl Chang of House Plant Journal.
*FC is lighting measured in Foot Candles and requires a light meter to get an accurate reading.
